With the project off to a good start, many pledges yet to be collected, and fundraisers on the horizon I decided that now is the time to put all my chips on the table and purchase a ticket to Thailand. So that’s exactly what I did last night.
I will arrive in Bangkok at 1am on December 26th, take a van on the 27th some 6 hours up into northeastern Thailand to Yasothon, and step foot in the orphanage on the morning of December 28th. I will deliver by hand all the funds raised (I take on all the costs of this project so they will get 100% of all donations made) as well as the completed collage – a powerful symbol that this world is full of people who care.
